GO Airport Express, a ground transportation company serving Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport and Midway Airports, has added free WiFi to all its shared-ride airport shuttles.
Free WiFi also is available on the company’s shuttles between Fashion Outlets of Chicago in Rosemont, downtown hotels and North Bridge Shopping Center on Michigan Ave. as well as Rivers Casino in Des Plaines.
Riders can access the service using a code provided by their driver.
“Offering free WiFi is our way of making riding with us more enjoyable and productive,” says John McCarthy, president, GO Airport Express. “We’ve gotten lots of positive feedback from our passengers.”
GO Airport Express provides airport shuttles as well as sedans and private charters and bus services for groups and conventions. At more than 160 years, it is one of Chicago’s oldest companies, tracing its founding to the Parmelee Transportation Company, which provided a carriage service between Chicago’s railroad stations and the downtown hotels. It also is a founding member of The GO Group LLC, the nation’s largest airport transportation provider, serving some 66 airports in North America, Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe and transporting more than 13 million passengers per year.
