GO Airport Express Brings Troops Home for Memorial Day

GO Airport Express, Chicago’s premier ground transportation provider, will offer the “Bringing Heroes Home” program to active military personnel in honor of Memorial Day.

Under the program, active military personnel in uniform will be provided free rides from the airports to downtown Chicago and Lincoln Park on Sunday (May 25) and Monday (May 26) of Memorial Day weekend.

To participate, military personnel must show their military IDs to GO Airport Express representatives at the shuttle service’s counter at O’Hare or Midway airports.

“We at GO Airport Express support our dedicated troops,” says company President John McCarthy. “It’s a pleasure and honor to do anything we can to simplify their journeys home.”

Founded in 1853 as the Parmelee Transportation Company, GO Airport Express currently transports more than one million passengers annually to and from Chicago’s O’Hare and Midway Airports.  Its door-to-door services are offered to and from downtown Chicago, as well as most Chicago neighborhoods and its surrounding suburbs.  It is also a founding member of GO Airport Shuttle, offering transportation from more than 100 airports worldwide.
